Example Sessions

Blue Ocean YearGoal setting in school groups

Students develop a personal vision for their year and life beyond school and then combine with other students from their school to create a Leadership Vision.

Walking the Talk

Students are taught the fundamentals of goal setting and action planning. They are given time to work in their school groups and determine outcomes that they will strive towards during their leadership term.

How to Make People Sit Up and Listen

Students learn techniques to take the fear of failure out of public speaking. This session provides the confidence, tools and skills needed to engage and entertain and audience.

Spyland

Spyland

This session explores the importance of maintaining focus on the big picture. It helps students identify and eliminate the distractions that may block them from creating momentum and achieving their goals.

Ambassador of Leadership

Students hear from ordinary people doing the extraordinary. The conference guest speaker will inspire students by sharing their story of service and achievement or overcoming challenges.

Will the Real Leader in Me Please Stand Up?

This session helps students identify what they value, qualities they admire in themselves and others and what shifts they need to make in order to be the best possible leader. It is a powerful session and the pinnacle of the conference.
