The Australian Youth Development Association has a new name
The Name Changes,
The Inspiration Remains,
The Vision Grows Stronger!
A word from yLead Founder Bernie Kelly...
This is an exciting time for me and our organisation.
As we develop new programs and new opportunities, I witness with great pride the evolvement of a vision started over 20 years ago.
It is a strengthening vision, which will see us take our inspiring messages beyond Australian shores, through our Conferencing and Altitude Day events. Inevitably the team building and leadership development skills we now possess will also transfer effectively into working with future young leaders of the corporate world.
With our changing destiny comes a need to present a more inclusive and generic face to the organisation.
I am proud to announce that as from 1st July, we will officially be known as yLead. All other details will remain the same.
Why yLead?
One of the key questions we pose to the many potential young leaders we engage with daily is 'Why lead at all - what's in it for you as leaders? With ‘y' also signifying youth, as an organisation it seemed a natural progression that yLead should be our new identity.
Finally, this is an appropriate time to give a great big thank you to the many amazing people who have supported the vision from day one. Without a partnership with all of the schools and educators who have engaged me or my team, we would not have been able to inspire the many thousands of students that have been affected by our programs.
Thank you again for belief in our work. I know you will embrace yLead and know that even though the name changes, the inspiration remains, and the vision will grow stronger.
Bernie Kelly
