iNESS - Cyberbullying

iNESS - Internet Education and Safety ServicesyLead has developed a partnership with iNESS - Internet Education and Safety Services - to present to Students, Parents and Teachers information that will enable them to understand some of the current issues surrounding Internet use. iNESS' mission is to equip and educate young Australians with the skills and knowledge to enable them to use the internet safely, whilst making them aware of their rights and responsibilities in the cyberworld.

Presentations are delivered by yLead Facilitators who have been trained by iNESS Creater and ex Queensland Police Officer, Brett Lee.  

Staying Safe on the Net and Cyberbullying

for Students and Teens

Brett LeeIn this presentation, children will learn how the programs they use work, the dangers online, how to identify dangers and ultimately how to avoid and deal with those dangers. This presentation informs teens of their responsibilities within the cyberworld and includes videos, screen examples and real life internet crime cases.

Protecting Teens in the Cyberworld

for Parents and Teachers

Audiences will learn what environment their teens are logging on to, what they're doing and the dangers they face online. The message is conveyed using video, examples and real life internet crime cases bringing the dangers of the internet to life.

This up-to-date presentation will also inform the audience of: 

  • Indicators that a child might be at risk on the net
  • Techniques used by online predators
  • Steps you can take to help keep teens safe online

We have never had a presentation that was so successfully received by our students, our teachers and our families in the wider community. The presentations were excellent, entertaining, thought-provoking  and informative - a real quality experience for participants.
