Leadership Launch Pad
Recommended for Upper Primary Students
'Leadership is any action that makes the world I touch a better place' – is the overriding theme of our upper primary program. The Leadership Launch Pad will enable each of your students to recognise the worth in self and in others and encourage them to choose actions that reflect this. It will also leave students with a tangible goal at the end of the day to achieve and to ‘leave the world they touch a better place’. Quite simply, the Leadership Launch Pad will propel your students into their leadership roles at your school with confidence, awareness and enthusiasm!
Key Outcomes | Students will…
Believe in self. The day will allow students to recognise their strengths and increase self confidence to step up and to take the initiative to lead, regardless of badge or popularity.
Believe in others. Students will recognise that their actions and words impact on other people, so care, respect and consideration are needed. How do they create an effective team and how do they influence other people to believe in themselves through actions?
Believe in a goal. Leadership is DOING. It’s important to set goals that serve other people and to act upon them! Belief in self and in others needs to be backed up by actually DOING!
