Heidi SchrammThe Purposeful Pocket Rocket Heidi first came to know yLead as a school leader from Logan City, on Brisbane's Southside. A participant of the conference in 1999, she stood out with her energy, passion and gregarious nature. After leaving the conference she was invited to be a regular presenter at in-school and conference programs, inspiring the next generation of young leaders. It wasn't too many years until Heidi began full-time work with yLead. Now one of the ‘oldest' members of the youthful team, Heidi has worked extensively around the country with primary, secondary, tertiary and staff audiences, always engaging and inspiring her audiences with her ‘pocket rocket' energy, and ‘realness' that radiates tangibly from the stage. James TierneyThe Money Man James Tierney is yLead's Financial Controller and Conference Logistics Coordinator. Since graduating in 2000 from one of Brisbane's most prestigious private boys' schools, Gregory Terrace, James has continued to flourish in all of his endeavours. He decided to continue his studies at the University of Queensland in 2001 undertaking a Bachelor of Electronic Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Business Management (International Business). However, before completing his degree James decided to explore personal growth opportunities and in 2004 he attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), an eye-opening experience that would lead him to heights he never thought possible! Brett KnowlesThe Passionate Presenter Brett is a South Australian local! School president in 2006 he attended the Australian Student Leadership Conference and was inspired and transformed by the experience. It wasn’t just one way admiration though. As a participant of the conference Brett stood out with his passion, enthusiasm and lovable nature. It was only natural that after he graduated school that Brett kept in touch with yLead! At school Brett was never an academic student and found school really challenging – at one point he considered giving up despite the hard work that got him that far.
