Itinerary
Below is a rough outline of what you can expect on the Tanzanian Immersion expedition. Please note that the timing of some activities can be subject to change depending on flights and other travel providers.

Into Africa Evening flight to Nairobi, Kenya from Australia (usually ex Brisbane or Sydney). Arrive Kili International Airport approx 7pm. Dinner and hot shower greets you at the School of St Jude, followed by solid sleep! |

School of St Jude Two glorious days teaching, playing and coaching the students of St Jude's while living in yLead House, built by the youth of Australia. |

Exploring Moshi Short bus journey to Moshi from which you orienteer your way to Springlands resort. |
| 6-7 |
Coach or Teach Two unforgettable days to coach your school's athletic team or deliver your teaching project. |
| 8-9 |
Paint a Classroom and then enjoy an Authentic African Homestay You have a school to paint! That night enjoy the beautiful hospitality of your host teachers from Mandela and Azimio Primary Schools. |

Athletic Carnival or Battle of the Brains It's time to see if your school can beat the others. Whose team will win the day? |
| 11-12 |
Marangu to Horombo Testing 6 hour forest walk to Mandara. 11km across the alpine meadows give splendid views of Kilimanjaro. |

Slowly across 'The Saddle' Acclimatisation day increases your chance of reaching Kibo Hut, final resting lodge before the attack on the summit. |
| 15 |
Roof of Africa 8 hours to Gilman's Point. Awesome glaciers trekking to Uhuru. Rest briefly at Kibo Hut before returning to Horombo. |

18km trek back to the park gate You have just completed your greatest private victory! |

Rest Day. Well... not quite! Most appreciated day of the tour, and most celebrated night as we say thank you to a giving community and our friends. |

Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngoro Ngoro Crater 3 day lodge safari! Three exceptional parks that give you elephant, lion, giraffe, hippo... THE LOT! A National Geographic experience! |
| 21-23 |
Time for Home OR Exotic Zanzibar If you're heading home today, you depart Dar es Salaam at approx 3pm and arrive back in Oz between 7am and 9am... with memories! Otherwise, if you choose the optional stopover, you transfer to Kili International Airport for 10am flight to historic Zanzibar, where rest and recreation awaits. |

Australia Calling Depart Zanzibar on the 7am ferry to catch the 3pm flight back to Australia, bringing back with you unforgettable memories of a life-changing experience! Arrive back in Australia between 7am and 9am. |
