Who Took My Spoon?
Recommended for First Year High School
'Who Took My Spoon?' introduces first year high school students to the concept of taking responsibility of their own actions, choices and direction. This program allows students to examine their own behaviours and attitudes and how they are personally accountable for the results they achieve. Students will recognise that they no longer need to be spoon-fed. It will help students to overcome relationship difficulties, challenges and insecurities. It empowers them to negotiate their own set of rules and guidelines as a team to maximise the personalities and strengths of the group. If you ever wished you could stop ‘spoon feeding’ your students the obvious, then this program is for you!

Recommended Processes
Who Took My Spoon | Through interactive discussion first year students explore the qualities that must exist in an individual to be accountable and to take responsibility for their own goals and choice. Examining their behaviours and attitudes will also help them make the transition to a mindset of no longer needing to be spoon-fed.
Positive Peer Relationships | Why is it important for students within a cohort to have a connection? This session uses a series of small, fun and energetic games to break down the barriers. The students will create a positive environment and develop greater rapport. These games lead to discussion and have students discover what constitutes a positive relationship at school.
Reaching Resilience | How to succeed despite personal frustration and challenge? What is the attitude of resilience and how do students achieve it? Giving students some skills in how to be more resilient in their lives and teams, this session will set your students up for success over the coming years.
