Y Lead?

Y Lead?Recommended for Year 11 students

"Why lead? What’s in it for me?" are common questions asked by many Year 11 students as they face greater demands on their time from academic, social, extra curricular and work pressures. Why would they want to give up more of their time and get on board the ‘leadership gig’? 'Y Lead?' will take your students on a journey and show them that leadership is more than wearing a badge and standing out the front giving direction. It’s about creating meaning in the lives of those around them through their actions, be they small or grand. Your students will walk away from the day as one cohesive group and aware that when they are being ‘best of self’, they can truly impact on the world around them. And that is what leadership is about!

'Y Lead?' will motivate your students to move towards their new leadership role and to embrace the possibilities of their senior years. Through the fun and inspirational activities that make yLead unique, your students will discover for themselves why leadership is worthwhile.
