The Buy-A-Brick Campaign Has Started!
The yLead House at The School of St Jude Fundraising Committee has been busy and has launched the Buy-A-Brick campaign. Read on to find out how you can be a part of it!
yLead has committed the youth of Australia to fundraise US$400,000 over three years to support the building of yLead House at The School of St Jude - a Boarding Home (identical to those below) for 80 Tanzanian primary school children who are receiving an opportunity of free quality education. The school was founded by Gemma Sisia, an Australian who believes in fighting poverty through education.
The cost of buying one square metre of bricks for the new boarding house is $100. For all donations of $100 or more you will receive a certificate of thanks and a photo of the completed yLead House at the School of St Jude. The Boarding Home will display a plaque that thanks the youth of Australia for their contributions that allowed the house to be built, which in turn allows the School of St Jude to continue in its mission to provide the youth of Tanzania with a quality education.
